We are a child-focused, constructivist, exploration, arts and discovery-based preschool in SE Portland. We care about children and giving our students the space to explore their own young minds, follow the ideas that strike them, learn from their mistakes, and take pride in their accomplishments. Our school strives to cultivate curiosity, creativity, concentration, openness, and a social understanding.of the world and their place in it.

Our sister program, The Hangout PDX, is an after school visual arts club for elementary students, K - 5. Our goal in this program is to enrich lives through the arts, teach our kids new ways of seeing the world, and foster new friendships.
