Founded in 1998, Ethos is the largest music school in Oregon. Ethos' statewide programming provides direct and sustained music instruction to thousands of kids every year throughout Oregon under the guiding principal that every child has a right to music education, regardless of socioeconomic status or geographic location.
Ethos offers private lessons, group classes and music camps for individuals ages 5 and older from our headquarters in North Portland. We recommend that new students begin with either a group class or summer camp. Both options introduce students to their instruments in a collaborative setting, and allow them to gain momentum and focus before they transition to private lessons.
