CISV is a global organization dedicated to educating and inspiring for peace through building intercultural friendship, cooperation and understanding. Founded in 1950, today we are a federation of 69 Member Associations with over 200 Chapters or local groups globally. The CISV Portland chapter sends kids, teens and adult leaders from Oregon and Washington to programs all over the world to build friendships, learn about peace education, and develop leadership skills—all while having a ton of fun.

CISV programs bring kids and teens together from all over the world to build friendships, learn cooperation amid both similarities and differences, and develop leadership skills—all while having a ton of fun.

This summer, CISV Portland has opportunities for kids ages 11–18 to have transformative international experiences, both here and abroad. It’s an amazing way for them to:

Live and play with peers from around the world
Gain independence and confidence in a safe, supportive setting
Explore big ideas like diversity, sustainability, and conflict resolution—through games and activities

If you’re looking for something meaningful and unforgettable for your child’s summer, CISV could be a perfect fit.
