As a beginning student, you will learn how to groom, tack, and untack. You will learn how to steer, walk, trot, and basic equitation. When you have mastered these skills, you will learn how to canter. Once you can perform these basic skills you will move up to intermediate and can specialize your training in dressage, jumping, cross country, or just keep riding with a professional there to help you grow as a rider.

Forward Stride’s mission is to enhance quality of life through horse-centered activities and therapies. This means that every program, clinical or not, has the power to have lasting therapeutic benefit to its participants. Our seven programs are organized into three categories of services: Equestrian Sports, Clinical Services, and Personal Development.

We offer private horse boarding, a comprehensive beginning and intermediate lesson program for all ages, horse shows, and private training.
