Wizarding Weekend at Kennedy School

Get away from the muggle world for a weekend of magic at McMenamins Kennedy School with the wizard activists of PDXpelliarmus! Celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday with a visit to Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, and Hogsmeade, participate in special games and activities, and enjoy magically-themed food and drink specials in the Great Hall!

The Great Hall will apparate into Kennedy School’s gym, where you’ll be able to sit at your House table and enjoy a cold butterbeer, take your Hogwarts student portrait, and begin the Horcrux Hunt. PDXpelliarmus will be hosting adult and children’s costume contests on both Saturday and Sunday. Friday night will be MOVIE trivia, and Saturday will be BOOK trivia, so study hard!
Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, and Hogsmeade will be open Friday evening through Sunday! Come shop for all your magical needs from local artists and vendors.

This event requires no tickets and is free to attend! If Kennedy School is able to book the movies, movie tickets will be sold separately.
PDXpelliarmus WILL be collecting school supplies and raising funds for local students! Details and more information about fundraising to come.
PDXpelliarmus is an all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to literacy, equality, and human rights. We stand with the Harry Potter fandom, and we believe there still good to be done in Harry’s name. We are committed to helping uplift and empower the transgender community as well as create safe spaces for all LGBTQIA+ people in the HP fandom.
