*The event has already taken place on this date: Thu, 04/23/2020
Why are some nations poor while others are prosperous? What are “economic institutions,” and how do they shape the standard of living and the opportunities available in different countries? Could economic institutions be the key to a nation’s success? How do such institutions relate to income per capita, economic growth, poverty, life expectancy, political rights and civil liberties, gender inequality, and even happiness?
