Calling all creative, fun, and artistic highschoolers!
The Summer Improv Workshop is a one-week summer camp designed especially for high schoolers who are ready to play, laugh, and grow their confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
Camp is limited to just 10 participants to foster a cozy, tight-knit community. Change Through Play welcomes all races, religions, orientations, and abilities in our studio.
Running July 6th–10th, from 2-5pm, this half-day camp introduces highschoolers to more collaborative and group-based improv games & actual scene work that sparks creativity, teamwork, and quick thinking. No experience in performance or acting is necessary! Through guided play, participants learn how to build stories together, listen and respond to others, think on their feet, and express themselves creatively and with confidence.
Each session is packed with high-energy games, collaborative challenges, and plenty of laughter. The focus isn’t on “being funny,” but on learning valuable life skills like communication, adaptability, and trust while having an absolute blast. By the end of the week, we'll be improvising entire blocks of scenes on our own, creating and editing our stories as we tell them!
Whether your child is outgoing, shy, imaginative, or somewhere in between, The Improv Playground is a welcoming space to make new friends, try something new, and discover the joy of saying “yes” to creativity.
Let your child play, explore, and build confidence one game at a time!
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR:David Koff is the Founder of Change Through Play and has been a professional actor and improviser for 30 years. He's used improvisation to help train actors, business leaders, educators, and recovering addicts.
