Spooktacular Animals

It's that time of year to learn about the scary, creepy and weird. Join Cindi to meet live animals and learn about why people may fear some animals more than others.

What happens when the sun goes down? What are animals doing while we sleep? Why do some animals look or act the way they do? And why do we fear the unknown? Why do some animals look so scary in the dark? In this class we will meet the misunderstood animals and conquer our fears. Sometimes animals hunt at night and sometimes they are just looking to stay safe and out of sight. All these questions will be answered when we meet the live animals that are nocturnal, feared and weird.This class is a lecture style class with a short PowerPoint and opportunities for students to share their knowledge and ask questions.
