Snow Moon Themed SoulCollage® ONLINE Workshop

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/10/2024
SoulCollage® is an expressive arts practice that can be done alone or with others. The method was founded by Seena B. Frost and is designed to enhance creativity, intuition, and self-discovery, providing personal guidance for individuals. Whether you are just starting your personal journey or are already on a path of self-discovery, SoulCollage® is accessible to everyone regardless of artistic ability. You are invited to join us for a two-hour intuitive collage online workshop.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

In this intuitive collage session, we focus on two essential elements that are the essence of SoulCollage®: finding compelling images and speaking aloud or journaling without rehearsal from the image or journaling using the "I Am One Who..." process. We will play together and discover the gifts that can be found in simple magazine or calendar images, as well as family photographs and original artwork. No experience is necessary, and this is an intuitive and unostentatious process.

In our workshop, you will learn how to make small 5x8 inch collages, which become your own personal decks of cards that you can use for guidance and meditation. The deck grows and evolves as you do, and there is no limit to the number of cards you can make. Each card reflects a part of YOU - and welcoming all the parts is a gift you can give yourself.

This month's workshop theme is the Snow Moon. According to The Old Farmers' Almanac, the full moon in February was dubbed the "Snow Moon" because of the heavy snow that typically falls during this season. Metaphorically, the Snow Moon is a reminder that change is not always showy. It illuminates the gentle stirrings that often create the most meaningful shifts. This is the time to trust the stillness and the truth of your own knowing. Join us in this 2-hour workshop to dive deeper into the theme of the Snow Moon.
