Join us on Saturday, October 21st at 10:30 am as local author Kathleen Converse shares her new book Sam & the Samhain Scare! We'll have story time, book signing, and magic wands!
Sam & the Samhain Scare is the third book in the Wheel of the Year series through Moondust Press. This story teaches children about the Celtic harvest festival of Samhain and kid-friendly ways to celebrate. The story also helps teach children about emotional regulation and how to calm their bodies when they are feeling scared.
During the magical fall storytime, we will have a read-aloud of Sam & the Samhain Scare, create our own magic wands, and learn a protection spell to empower kids to feel brave.
Books will be available to purchase at Hammer + Jacks. We look forward to see you there!
About the Author:
Kathleen is a local author, therapist, and witch. She is a former elementary school teacher and loves helping kids celebrate the magic of the changing seasons.
