The Prince visits Leonato with evil sibling John. Beatrice and Benedicke feud. Claudio plans to marry Hero. Folx gull Beatrice and Benedicke into thinking the other loves them. John makes Hero appear unfaithful. Claudio viciously spurns her at the altar. Hero fakes her death. John's plot is revealed. Everybody marries.
