Juneteenth Celebration - City of Wilsonville | Kids Out and About Portland

Juneteenth Celebration - City of Wilsonville

*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 06/19/2024
This year’s theme is Freedom to Create & Contribute, and features a keynote by Kimberly Howard Wade, the executive director of Caldera Arts, which empowers and inspires at-risk youth through art, environment, and mentoring. The organization also supports creatives and cultural workers as they seek to build skills and relationships to further their efforts. This free event is being planned and executed by the City’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. It is made possible through the generous support of local sponsors.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
KMHD’s Bryson Wallace will be spinning music, and several community partners are joining us to engage and connect with the Wilsonville community. Cafe Yumm will also be available (while supplies last).

Thanks to Platinum Sponsor Swire Coca-Cola, as well as Hilton Garden Inn, Oregon Institute of Technology, and Columbia Distributing for making this event possible.
