All aboard for holiday magic!
Join Santa Claus and his elves for a joyful 45 minute train ride behind a historic steam locomotive. Decorated in festive cheer, the heated vintage rail cars transport you along the Willamette River in the heart of Portland.
Before or after your ride, there’s plenty of holiday fun to enjoy at the Center! Explore our Gift Shop for unique souvenirs and gifts. Grab some hot cocoa and cookies from our concessions, and make the most of your visit with our festive offerings and exhibits.

Advance ticket purchase recommended. Admission to the Center is included with your train ticket.
The Holiday Express Train departs from the Oregon Rail Heritage Center at 2250 SE Water Avenue.
Trains depart on time – please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled departure.
