Forest Field Day: A Homeschool Program | Hoyt Arboretum
Bring your homeschool family out for a Forest Field Day, and explore the trails and tree collections of Hoyt Arboretum with a Nature Educator! Forest Field Day is designed for individual homeschool families. Participants should be prepared to work together, meet new people from other homeschool families, and participate in hands-on, inquiry-based nature activities. Registration is required.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
In March we will search for signs of spring! Learn what to look for – do you notice trees starting bud? Do you hear more bird activity? Can you spot any bugs scurrying around? Participants will practice their expanded knowledge through games, journaling, stories, and more.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
