Farm Animal Fun Children's Workshop (ages 6-10) at Pomeroy Farm

Have you ever wondered what it might be like to be a kid living on the farm? Join us to learn one of the most important aspects of farm life--animal care! We'll meet each of the farm animals and discuss their purpose on the farm and the products they give us. Children will help out with some of the animal chores (including feeding!), and participate in an activity that will demonstrate some of the things we can make with the help of our animals!

Recommended for ages 6-10. Children 2+ require ticket. Max age 12 years old.
Each child attending the workshops must have a parent or chaperone accompany them and remain onsite for the duration of the program. One adult may accompany several children from the same family or group. Please do not bring more chaperones than requested. Chaperones do not need to purchase tickets.
Families and groups are welcome to bring a picnic with them and stick around to enjoy their lunch after the workshop! Guests can enjoy their picnic lunches on the festival grounds and visit with the animals for a bit before they head home. Grounds will remain open until 1:00 pm.
