Family and Elf House Workshop | Nordic Northwest
Come explore the world of Nordic folklore and spend the day making tiny houses for the Tomte, Nisse, Elves, and Fairies! Learn about the littlest of the Nordic mythical creatures, then create cozy tiny homes for them to stay warm during the winter. With guidance and imagination, you will transform ordinary twigs, branches, bark, plants, flowers, and leaves into mini houses and fanciful furniture perfect for new tiny residents. Great for ages 5 and up.

We will read Nordic folktales and take a walk in the woods to gather materials and inspiration. The duration of this workshop is extended to include time for working freely on projects for as long as needed, with time for breaks. All required step by step instruction will occur within the first three hours, with the last two hours held for working on projects with instructor present for guidance.
All materials will be provided, along with step-by-step instruction. Children under 6 years will require adult assistance with use of hot glue guns.
This is a multi-generational workshop! An adult guardian is required for children under the age of 18. Adult guardians do not have to purchase a ticket if they only plan to assist children in the craft. If an adult plan to make their own separate craft, they are required to purchase a ticket.
