Epic Animation // Stop Motion Techniques for Creators (ages 11-14) - PAM CUT
Unleash your kid’s creativity in this exciting camp focused on stop-motion animation! Designed for youth ages 11-14, this week-long experience will guide campers through the process of creating an original animated short. Led by teaching artist Andrés Eduardo, campers will learn to brainstorm ideas, develop characters, and storyboard their narratives. They’ll experiment with a variety of animation techniques, including paper puppets, pixelation, clay animation, and object manipulations to bring their stories to life.

The camp begins with inspiring examples of animated shorts to spark ideas and uncover creative interests. From there, campers will explore each step of the animation process, gaining valuable skills in storytelling, collaboration, and problem solving.
By the end of the week, participants will have produced a fully realized animated short, ready to share with family and friends at a celebratory screening. This camp is ideal for aspiring animators and storytellers who are ready to unleash their imagination and bring their stories to life!
