Now open! Mandela: The Official Exhibition is the major new global exhibition that explores the story of the world’s most famous freedom fighter and political leader. Walk through Mandela's inspiring life and understand how his values and commitment to making the world a better place remain as vital now as they were during his lifetime.

In addition to access to this unique educational opportunity, your museum admission provides entry to OMSI's Turbine Hall, reimagined Science Playground, and our Natural Sciences Hall. For more in-depth science fun, be sure to check out one of our four science labs.
As part of our commitment to a safe, enjoyable experience, OMSI has taken the following steps:
- Face coverings: We require all staff and guests three and older to wear face coverings.
- Reduced capacity and timed entry: Museum admissions are limited, and we're carefully staggering entry times to avoid crowding.
- Online ticketing: Book in advance and we'll scan your ticket upon arrival for contactless entry.
- Cleaning: We've implemented enhanced cleaning protocols and installed additional hand sanitizing stations throughout the museum.
OMSI Members and children 2 and under visit for free.
