Science exploration begins with observation. What do you see? What is happening? Look at the properties of fire and ice in a new way with hands-on experiments and challenges each day. By strengthening their powers of observation, children discover a stronger connection to others and their environment. The exploration continues as children prepare daily snacks over the fire or using ice.
SCHOOL BREAK ADVENTURES at Space & Grace Learning offer a wholistic approach to child development. Your child will experience a wealth of social games, imagination building activities and openings for individual creative expression.
Each day helps your child grow and develop through age appropriate activities.
Each day is a balance of activity and rest.
Each day is full of curiosity and fun!
9:00am-12:00pm Activities devoted to the theme of the week and snack.
12:00pm -1:30pm Nature walk and visit to Sewallcrest Park for lunch and free play.
1:30-2:00pm Quiet Rest and read aloud on the cozy front porch.
Maximum Class Size: 8 Minimum Class Size: 4
We will be outdoors all day. Pack appropriate gear for the weather (sunscreen, rain gear, extra socks, etc), water bottle, hearty snack, and lunch in an over the shoulders pack. A complete registration form and payment invoice will be sent once you register for your Adventure. Discounts for early registration, multiple family members or multiple weeks attended.
